How TransferSnap works

The payer scans your QR code with their banking app and sends you money directly via SEPA Instant Payment. No middleman, no extra app — just a real bank transfer from their account to yours.

You (the receiver)
One-time setup
  1. Save your name and IBAN in Settings Stored locally on your device. You only do this once.
For each payment
  1. Enter amount and reference E.g. EUR 42.50 for "Invoice 2024-003".
  2. Show the QR code to the payer On your screen or as a screenshot.
The payer
  1. Open their banking app No extra app needed — they use their regular bank.
  2. Start a new transfer and scan the QR code Your IBAN, the amount, and reference are filled in automatically.
  3. Confirm and send instantly The money is transferred directly to your bank account via SEPA Instant Payment. The payer may need to activate instant payments in their banking app first.
Where to find the QR scanner in banking apps

Most European banking apps support scanning EPC QR codes. The feature is usually found under names like:

The payer doesn't need to install anything — they just use their existing banking app. The QR code follows the EPC QR standard (v002), supported across 36 SEPA countries.
